I am glad to introduce to you a social and jolly young girl who lives with her parents and siblings in the northern part of Uganda. The family lives in a very remote village with very poor roads that cuts them off from the different social services. The community in which Leah lives is that which is characterized with farming as the main source of income which has not been so good in the past two years due to the prolonged drought that affected the crops leaving them with very low yields that can hardly earn them an income to sustain the family with all their needs. The well being of the child is not so good as she shares beddings with the siblings exposing her to skin infections and also she never gets a comfortable night as they struggle to cover themselves.
