We are introducing to you the smart Fikadu who lives with his parents and one sibling in a destitute neighborhood with poor hygiene. He and his family speak Amharic language. He is in school, and his favorite subject is English language. His favorite game is playing hide and seek with his friends. His mother is a housewife, and she takes care of the family. His father is a daily laborer to make a living. Their minimal income, which is less than 300 USDs per annum, is not enough to cover even their most basic needs. They plan to change their lives by being engaged in income generating petty trade activities. This can be achieved if they get some support and encouragement. The family lives in a small, rented house. The community where the child lives in the area where most of the members of the community are affected by leprosy and some of them are living with HIV virus. In order to overcome the poverty Fikadu is facing, he needs to be enrolled in the project.
