Mitchell lives with her parents and a brother in Chitemalesa a small farming community situated east of Lusaka. They live in a two roomed house. Mitchell is a happy child who loves to play jumping rope games. She attends primary school at a local school near their home, her hopes and dreams are to become a nurse. The family depends on subsistence farming for their livelihood. Their annual income is about US$350 which is inadequate to meet all their daily needs.
