Aradhya lives in a remote region in the state of Madhya Pradesh. Her father works as a farmer and earns approximately USD 475 per year, which is not sufficient to meet the familys expenses. The mother takes care of the household. She is not able to make ends meet despite her best efforts. There are no basic facilities where they live. The parents are determined to provide the child a better future and approached this project. Aradhya is attending government preschool. She is learning to recite rhymes and numbers in Hindi, the national language. She enjoys playing with dolls, along with her friends. Her favorite meal is rice with lentils. Aradhya is in good health.
