Mabinty is a beautiful agile girl who lives with her parents and one brother in a village surrounded by swamps and many trees. Their village is situated in the Northern part of Sierra Leone. The family dwells in a mud house roofed with old zincs. Mabinty and her family sleep on a local stick bed and on a dried grass mattress with old clothes for covering. They sleep under mosquito bed nets. The parents are farmers growing rice, pepper and groundnuts for food at home and sometimes sells some to augment their family needs. The annual income of the family is less than US$400.00 which is not enough to take care of the basic needs of the family. They share one meal a day. Mabinty is always simply dressed and is doing fine at present. She loves playing balancing ball with her mates. With the help of sponsorship, Mabinty and her family will live better lives.
