Samba lives with both parents and siblings in a two bedroom house built with mud bricks and roofed with old zinc. He sleeps with his brother on a locally made wooden bed with a grass mattress on it. Samba is attending primary school in his community and is doing well especially in reading. He is healthy and good looking but lacks the provision for a proper living condition. His parents are small scale farmers whose annual income is about US$ 293.00, which is inadequate to take care of the basic needs of the family. His needs are therefore sometimes neglected due to low earning. Sponsorship will help him achieve his dream of becoming an educated citizen in the future.
