This is Arleth. She grows up in the high and cold city of La Paz, the seat of government of  Bolivia. She is a sociable, joyful and playful girl. From the moment she wakes up until she drifts off to sleep, she is always on the move, eagerly reaching out for toys and babbling in her own adorable language. This healthy girl lives with her parents in a rudimentary small dwelling made of adobe walls, cement floor and metal corrugated roof. While they have electricity, they lack proper sanitation services. Her father works as an electrician, while her mother takes care of the home. The family income is around US $ 416.00 per month, which does not cover the basics and reaching the end of the month is a constant struggle. Like many children in this country, she needs your love and support to have access to better living conditions to grow up as a healthy and productive adult.
