Rupni lives in a faraway tribal village located in the eastern Indian state of Jharkhand. She is called Pundimai at her home. Her father works long as a marginal farmer earning approximately USD 240 per year which is insufficient to support the family and pay for education and household expenses. The mother is a resourceful housewife who tries to make ends meet with whatever is at hand, but she fails to do so despite her best efforts. The parents appealed to this project for a better future and education for this child. Rupni is attending primary school. Her favorite subject is Hindi, the national language. She loves to play group games. She likes to play local games with her friends. She has five brothers and two sisters. Your sponsorship would be a great help to the family.
