Bhavyasree, fondly called as Bhavyas young life is marred by poverty and misery. She and her family live in a small house in a slum development quarters. Her  father works as a driver and her mother does housemaid works in order to maintain the family. Their hard work fetches them  a very low income of approximately US Dollar 1329 per annum, which living in urban city of Karnataka, does not suffice to tide over the financial problems.  The parents are at their wits end trying to solve the mounting problems, but there is hardly any sign of improvement in their living conditions. Finally in utter desperation, they sought aid from this project in order to provide a better future for this child. Bhavya attends school, and is active. She finds English and Science subjects interesting. She enjoys playing with dolls, group games with her friends, especially hide and seek and running games. Her health is average.  Bhavya has four elder brothers.
