This is Joel. He grows up in a remote community of Cochabamba, Bolivia, that faces many serious difficulties, including life-altering malnutrition, extreme generational poverty, and poor educational services. He is a joyful, shy and caring boy who enjoys playing with cars. He is not enrolled in formal education. Unfortunately, his father died. Joel lives with his mother and 4 siblings in a modest dwelling made of brick walls, cement floor and corrugated metal roof. They lack sanitation services. His mother earns a living as a washerwoman. The family monthly income is no more than US $ 86.00, which is lower than the minimum wage and reaching the end of the month is a constant struggle. This is where you come in.
