Joshua lives with his parents and siblings in a small village in Northern part of Uganda. His father earns an income of 10 dollars monthly by selling farm products after harvesting from the garden. They live in a small single-roomed grass thatch house with parked dirt floor. Their neighborhood is surrounded by scarce settlement and many houseflies with many cases of sleeping sickness that makes most people within his village to suffer from that due to the presence of many houseflies. He is a social boy who likes to draw pictures and helps his parents with sweeping compound. He plays with his friends but lacks basic needs and shares beddings with his brothers and sisters. He is enrolled in school is enrolled in school but at a verge of dropping out as he regularly misses classes due to lack of scholastic materials.
