Principal lives in the Kalola Community of Chibombo District in the Central Province of Zambia with his parents and siblings. The family engages in small-scale subsistence farming, growing maize and vegetables. Unfortunately, due to unpredictable weather patterns, soil infertility, and outdated farming methods, their harvests are consistently low, making it difficult to meet their basic needs. Their annual income is approximately $300. Currently in school, Principal has a keen interest in numbers and aspires to become a doctor in the future. He enjoys playing with dolls made of mud and is in good health. At home, he helps his parents with household chores, such as clearing the table after meals and drawing water.
