Hoseya is a humble, kind, and obedient boy who lives in central western Uganda. Hoseya is always referred to as Hosa at home. Hoseya stays with both parents and his siblings at home, they grow cassava, maize, and beans on a hired government piece of land in the forest reserves for home consumption and sell off the surplus during bumper harvests. This is when the family is able get some money for medication and other family demands. It is worse when the harvests are low mainly when it heavily rains. This has made his siblings miss school mainly when the parents did not have enough harvests and did not get any surplus. This means if Hoseya and his siblings are not supported, they may drop out of school at an early age and their children too may not make it in life also. If his family is supported with livelihood empowerment programs, they will increase their monthly income which will help the parents meet the goals of the children. This can only be done through sponsorship to this family through Hoseya. It will be great for them if you pick them up and sponsor Hoseya to achieve her dreams and have improved life.
