Argi is a cheerful and healthy young child enrolled in preschool with dreams of becoming a soldier. Anybody will easily like him for his friendly and polite attitude. He and his family live in a highland community in Eastern Indonesia that known for its longer annual dry season compared to the rainy season. This has been a big challenge for his family to be properly sustainable throughout the year. His father is a hard worker who work as an employee, their income generation can reach up to USD 61.00 per month which is not enough to fill the familys needs. Meanwhile, his mother tries hard as a resourceful housewife, to make ends meet with what is at hand, but there is hardly any change in their deplorable living conditions. Reaching the end of the month is a constant struggle for this family. They are always grateful for what they have got from their work. However, they also need that they need to get another income generation whenever it is necessary. To help this family provide adequate care, education, child protection and fulfill his rights as a child, we are passionate to welcome him into ChildFund program.
