Tabitha is a lively little girl who lives with her single mother and siblings. She is a resident of a small village in Northern Uganda. The family housing is that of grass, mud blocks and packed dirt beautifully smeared with cow dung. The neighbourhood is a small trading centre that is characterised by small retail shops, and a small market. Even then her family only depend on peasantry for a living with very little earnings of about 4 US dollars per month. This supports the family access a basic meal and needs like paraffin for lighting, soap and salt. Tabitha is enrolled in school but sadly she is in and out of class because her parents take long to pay her school fees. She sometimes misses examinations that affects her academic performance. Tabitha lives in a state of misery because even the meal in her household is not so consistent that sometimes they go hungry. She sleeps on a torn papyrus mat that she shares with her siblings. Your choice to sponsor Tabitha will restore her lost hope of attending school.
