Simon is a quiet and polite boy who likes playing football with his peers. He lives with his parents and four siblings North Eastern Uganda. The family solely depends on agriculture for food and some income. The family is struggling to provide basic needs like food, education, clothing and medical care. At times they go bed hungry if the crops fail to give good yields in some harvesting seasons. The family earns less than US 10 dollars on average per month which is not enough to raise the family out of poverty. They sleep in a small grass thatched house made of mud walls and wattle. Their main source of fuel for lighting at home at night is kerosene. Water for domestic use is accessed through a community borehole which often breaks down due to high population using it. The family then forced to draw water from nearby dirty water sources that are shared with animals which exposes them to water borne diseases like typhoid. Your kind heart to sponsor Simon will increase his chances of having a better future.
