Yayah is a friendly and clever boy.He live with his family, his brother and mother in a small farming community in the northern part of Sierra Leone. His father is a sickle-cell patient and is away in the city. His mother is a vegetable gardener who grows crops like corn, millet and beans which is the main source of income for the family. His mother annual income is about U.S 390.00 which can hardly take them through the year. They dwell in a two bedroom mud bricks adobe house without toilet facility and inadequate beddings. Yayah is attending in one of the primary schools in his village. He has great passion for education but his mother cannot afford to buy him all school materials for quality education. He loves to sing and dance to traditional music when they relax on moonlight nights and also like to play a football during the day.
