Roshn hails from a very needy family from a tribal village in Jharkhand. The area where he lives has no proper health, water, and sanitation facilities. To support the family his father works as a casual laborer. His hard job earns him a meagre US dollar 240 every year, which is insufficient to get him through his financial difficulties. The mother being a housewife is at her wits end trying to solve the mounting problems, but there is hardly any sign of improvement in their living conditions. Finally, in utter desperation, they sought aid from this project to provide a better future for this child. Roshn attending an early childhood program.
