Pamela is a humble young girl coming from the Central part of Uganda. She loves so much reading at school especially stories in the English subject and enjoys playing hide and seek with her peers. Pamela lives her father, mother, and siblings in a two roomed house made of muddy walls, straw thatched roof and packed dirt floors. She sleeps on an old mattress with her siblings, and they cover themselves with a torn blanket that cannot cover their whole body, so the legs are left uncovered. This condition is steered by the inability of her parents to provide the basic needs for Pamela and her siblings because of their meagre earnings of US 17 dollars monthly income earned from the growing of pineapples on a hired piece of land. In a season where the pineapples are many, they sell the pineapples cheaply and fail to realize even their capital. This situation puts her parents in a situation where they cannot keep Pamela and her siblings in school fully, so they miss a lot while at home due to failure to raise school fees. Your kind sponsorship will help keep Pamela in school to become a responsible lady in future.
