Whitney  is a playful girl who comes from the Northern part of Kenya, Turkana County. She lives with her mother and a brother. They live in a grass thatched house with sticks in a communal land and they fetch water from the community hand pump. Her mother depends on making brooms and selling. However, the annual income derived from this broom making is below 360 US dollars which is not enough to support the family needs. She goes to a nearby school in the village and she performs better in mathematics and drawing. In addition, she loves playing rope skipping with her friends during free time.Whitney aspires to be a teacher in future.
