Chisomo is one of the needy children who live with his parents and brothers in Tigwilizane community in Luangwa district of Zambia. His parents are local small scale farmer who depend on rainfed agriculture for growing their crops. Being in a valley, farming is challenging due to undesirable weather condition of drought and floods which affects crop yields negatively. They grow crops such as maize, pumpkins and groundnuts mainly for their own consumption and just a little for sale in order to raise some income for other needful commodities. The familys annual income is less than $400 and not adequate to meet all their basic need hence the reason for enrolling her in ChildFund sponsorship. Despite their hardship, his parents are eager to committed to see that Chomo is educated and able to live a better life.  Chisomo is in preschool and his health is good.  He likes playing ball games with his friends. Your sponsorship will enable Chisomo have a better environment for him to thrive and be educated.
