Sponsor A Child

Kate is a needy child who lives with Parents, five brother and a sister in Tigwilizane community in Luangwa district. It is approximately about 275 kilometers from the village where she lives which is on the south-eastern part of Zambia to Lusaka city. Kates parents are local peasant farmers who grows maize, beans and pumpkins at a small scale mainly for their own consumption, where the yields are sometimes affected by the droughts or floods depending on the weather conditions in each farming season that comes. Kate is enrolled in preschool at the moment in baby class. Her health is good and most of the times, she likes to play ball games. The family is very happy that the child is taking part in the sponsorship program and any help will leave them with an indelible mark.
