Matheesha is a mischievous little toddler who lives with his brother and parents in a remote village in the Moneragala district of Sri Lanka. Matheesha  is too small to be burdened by hobbies. He loves to be with his mother all the time and also loves to play with toys.  His father works as a seasonal farmer and earns an annual income of around USD550/- which is hardly sufficient for their day to day expenses. His mother attends to the house work and looks after her children. In addition, she also helps his father with the cultivation work. They live in their own house which has been constructed with bricks.  Their floor is concreted and the roof is covered clay tiles.  They have access to proper sanitary facilities,  electricity and use tap water. His father’s income is insufficient to meet the requirements of the family, as such the child is deprived of nutritious food and other requirements.  By sponsoring Matheesha you have the ability to bring more vibrancy and happiness into his life, as well as uplift the spirits of his entire family.
