Patience lives with her family in Chongwe District one of the rural farming areas east of Zambia. She only has a sister with no brothers in her family. Patience is currently at school and she mixes well with members of her family and enjoys playing with toys and learning mathematics. Her parents practice subsistence farming which is their source of income. They mainly grow maize as their staple crop however, yields are often low because of infertile soils. Their annual income is below US$ 550 and insufficient to sustain their family, therefore your support through sponsorship will help Patience and her family improve the living standard.
