Josphat resides in Namayani Community of Chibombo District in the Central Province of Zambia, living with his parents and siblings. His parents are not formally employed due to a lack of skills, and they primarily work as farmers, growing maize for food and selling any surplus. The family also relies on the father, who takes on general jobs in the community to help meet their basic needs, but the income is insufficient, totaling about US$250 annually. Josphat is in school and dreams of being a teacher not currently in school, he is in good health and enjoys playing ball games.
