Sponsor A Child

Rediet was born in Balaya a place found in the Southern Regional State.  Rediet lives with her parents and she has five siblings.  Her father is a guard and her mother is a housewife and she takes care of the family. She is in kindergarten and she likes counting numbers and reading English and Amharic alphabets. She spends her time playing local games with her friends. Rediet and her family live in a small hut. The local community where the child lives lack quality education, health facilities, and transportation facilities and they walk long distances to get water from the contaminated river.  No sanitary facilities and most of the houses are one room with no partition for sleeping and cooking. The family’s annual income is below 350 USD which is not enough to fulfill the basic needs of the family as well as the child.
