Alfia hails from an abjectly needy family. After the demise of her father, the sole responsibility fell on her mother. She works as a casual labor. She works for long and tiring hours, but her income is approximately US dollar 215 per annul, which does not suffice to maintain the family, there is hardly any change in their deplorable living conditions. Seeing no way out of their miserable plight but keen on educating this child ,the desperate parents sought aid from this project. Alfia is attending school. Her favorite subject is Kannada language.
