Sunkarie is a lovely and ambitious girl. She lives with her parent and sleeps on a straw mat spread on the floor beside the bed of her mother. They dwell in a two bed room mud brick self-built house roofed with old zinc in a small farming community located in the far north of Sierra Leone. Her father is a small scale farmer who grows crops like cassava, sweet potatoes, and vegetables. Their annual income is inadequate to solve some of the basic needs of Sunkarie and the rest of the family. Square meal per day, clothing, safe drinking water, proper bed and beddings among others are often neglected. She is attending school. Sunkarie is healthy and likes playing with dolls together with her friends.
