Veronica lives with her  parents and her siblings  in a small farming village. Her parents have a small garden where they grow crops like maize and vegetables mainly for consumption though some maize is sold but they  do not earn enough to care for all the children as the income they earn is US$300 per year. Sometimes her mother sells tomatoes and vegetables at a near by market to suppliment the income.  Veronica  sleeps on a  mat made of reed  without any matress on the floor together with her elder sister. She helps  prepare and clean up after meals. Veronica attends primary school in the village, and enjoys her classes in Mathematics and English as she dreams of becoming a Nurse after her school. Her health is in good condition.Veronica enjoys spending time with her friends playing with dolls made of mud. With your support we have hope that Veronica will have a better future.
