Sponsor A Child

Elijah is a respectful and humble child living in one of the sub counties near Kampala City in central Uganda. His dream is to become a driver, although he also has a strong passion to play football. He kicks the ball with his peers made out of polythene bags because his grandmother cannot afford modern ones. He stays with his grandmother but with support from the mother who earns 27 dollars that must provide for her children and self. There feeding is inadequate which has contained him in poor health. He goes to school, but unfortunately for him, he does not stay there for long because of their inability to provide school needs which also gets back to affecting his prospects. Sponsoring Elijah could be a chance for him, to receive support and participate in programs that could eventually change his life over time.

Ending child poverty begins with Elijah. It’s easy. It’s impactful.
