Wanderson is a young Brazilian boy who lives with his parents, Jose and Josimeire, in a small rural community located in the state of Ceara. Their simple home, which is self-owned, has brick walls, rough cement flooring and a clay-tiled roof. It has a tiny bathroom. Running water and electricity are available. Jose takes some odd jobs when available (he is unemployed at this time) and the family receives a small family allowance from the federal government. Wanderson is intelligent, affectionate and playful. He helps his mom by filling the bottles with water. He likes playing soccer along with his friends. Wanderson is considered to have good health, in spite of the poor living conditions and diet. He attends a local public elementary school and likes physical education. His big dream is to become a professional soccer player when he grows up. The family is needy and through your support Wanderson and his family have the opportunity to participate in important projects in the areas of health, recreation and education.
