Jonathan is a simple polite and simple young boy who lives with his weak grandparents in the northern part of Uganda. They live in a remote village where farming is the main source of livelihood that has not been good in the last two years. Jonathan likes playing football with his friends and during his free time he supports his family with tying goats, his parents divorced leaving him under the care of his weak grandparents who are unable to cater for all his needs. He is enrolled in school where he has to walk six kilometers every day for him to attend school the distance is far for him which has sometimes made him miss school that has affected his performance in school. Jonathan would like to become a professional driver when he finishes his studies but he worries a lot that he may not reach his dream, as his grandparents may not be able to pay his fees throughout his school time. Your choice to sponsor Jonathan will cause great change in his life as he will attain all the basic needs that he has always lacked.
