Rediet is a very cheerful girl who lives with her parents in a neighborhood in a destitute neighborhood with poor hygiene. She is in Kindergarten school student and she likes reading English alphabets. The child enjoys playing hide seek with her friends. Her mother is a housewife and she takes care of the family. Her father is a casual worker, and his minimal income, which is less than 650 USDs per annum, is not enough to cover even their most basic needs. They plan to change their lives by being engaged in income generating activities. This can be achieved if they get some support and encouragement. The family lives in a small rented house. The community where the child lives in the area where most of the members of the community are affected by leprosy and some of them are living with HIV virus. In order to overcome the poverty Rediet is facing, she needs a helping hand.
