Prince is a needy but cheerful boy who lives with his parents in one of the villages that form Tigwilizane community in Luangwa district located about 265 kilometers away from Lusaka the capital city of Zambia. His parents are subsistence farmers who mainly grow maize, pumpkins and groundnuts for their own consumption. The familys income is approximately 290 US dollars per annum and is not adequate to meet all their basic needs. Thus, the reason why his parents enrolled him under the ChildFund sponsorship program. Currently, Price is not attending school because of his age and has down syndrome such that despite his age, he has not yet learnt how to speak. His parents are hopeful that will be able to learn just like every other child in the community. They also plan to take him to a school for the children with special education needs that was constructed by ChildFund within the district. Your sponsorship will enable Prince to have a better education and a bright future.
