Senkwe is a needy young boy who lives with his grandmother in Tigwilizane community in Luangwa district of Zambia. His grandmother is a local subsistence farmer who depend on rainfed agriculture. In the farming seasons they always grow maize, pumpkins and groundnuts mainly for their own consumption and just a little for sale in order to raise some income for other needful commodities. However, the yields have been dwindling due to drought associated with climate change hence affecting the familys annual income. Senkwe is currently in primary education at a school where ChildFund recently constructed a new classroom block. His dream is to become a teacher and be able to support his family. His health is good and likes playing ball games with his friends. Your sponsorship will help lay a foundation for Senkwe to meet his dream of becoming a teacher and improve his life.
