Sponsor A Child

Mary lives in Kalola Community of Chibombo District of the Central Province of Zambia. She lives with both of her parents and  her siblings. The family does a small subsistence farming where they grow maize and vegetables but due to unpredictable weather pattern, soil infertility and poor cultivation methods, the farm produce is always low and this cannot meet their basic needs adequately. The income they get annually is US$300. She is in school and she likes numbers as she wants to be a Nurse when she finishes her education. Her health is in good condition and she enjoys playing with dolls made of mud. She assists her parents with house hold chores like picking plates after meal and drawing water. We are hopeful that your sponsorship will enable this child to have adequate access to basic essentials and have a good future.
