Luna is a very young Brazilian girl who lives with her parents, Luan and Brena, and with her sister, Yara, in a small community in the state of Ceara. Their simple home has brick walls, ceramic tile floors and clay-tiled roof. It is rented and has a tiny bathroom. Luan takes some odd jobs as an unskilled laborer when available (he is unemployed at this time) and the family receives a small family allowance from the federal government. Luna is an active and sweet baby girl. She crawls all over the floor and sits all by herself. She takes bottles as well as solid foods like corn pap and vegetable soup. She likes playing with colorful and noisy toys. Luna is considered to have good health, in spite of the poor living conditions and diet. Through your support Luna and her family will have the opportunity to participate in important projects in the areas of health, education and nutrition.
