Rugiatu is a smart little girl who lives with her parents, siblings and other relatives in a grassland area north of Sierra Leone. Their village is deprived of electricity and lacks proper sanitation. They dwell in a mud brick house roofed with zinc. Her parents engaged in farming growing mainly their food and sell few to augment other needs. The annual income combined is estimated US$461 and it is mainly used for food, medical bills and education for her siblings. Rugiatu is active and gets on well with her peer group. She is not yet in school, as she is too young to walk from her village to the next village for schooling. She is learning at home from her friends and parents. She loves dancing and singing. Your sponsorship will help her grow up in a healthy environment and become educated and confident child.
