Shevalyn, affectionately known as Sheva, and her family live happily together in a house made of light materials. They do not have their own water connection and buy water for all purposes. They use a mini-solar light at night.Her father, a laborer, works hard to provide for their daily needs, earning $60.00 a month, which goes towards food and the childrens school expenses. Despite the challenges, the couple remains hopeful that their children will complete their education and have a brighter future.Sheva is the eldest child and is currently a primary grade pupil. She eagerly looks forward to going to school each day to meet her friends and classmates. She dreams of becoming a teacher someday. In her spare time, Sheva enjoys playing with her siblings and helps her mother with household chores.
