Christine is a joyful young girl who comes from Turkana County; the northern part of Kenya. She lives with her parents and siblings. They live in a palm leaves thatched hut. The family gets water from the tap whose water is not enough as it is depended upon by many households in the community. They also get water from a river for supplementation purposes. The mother is the breadwinner who burns and sells charcoal. The annual income derived from this activity is below US Dollars 360 which is inadequate to sustain the family needs. Christine and the mother approached the project to seek for aid. Christine is enrolled in a nearby school where she likes coloring, drawing and counting sessions. While at home, she likes rope skipping. She is young to help the family to perform any family chores. Christine will highly appreciate for your sponsorship for it will enable her achieve her dreams of being a bank manager in future.
