Jovia is a humble girl with super reading skills. While at school, she enjoys Literacy and Numeracy as her best subjects. Jovia stays with her mother in one of the remote villages in central Uganda. They live in a one roomed house made of grass thatched roof, muddy walls and packed dirt floors. Jovia and her mother depend on their small garden of beans and sweet potatoes food and surplus for sale to get a monthly income of US 15 dollars which is not enough to provide for their basic needs such as clothing, education and medication. Jovia faces unstable school attendance due to severe sickness suffering from typhoid, flu and malaria which results from using contaminated water from wells and the packed dirt conditions of their home which is a danger to this child. Jovia has a dream of becoming a teacher because she is inspired by teachers in her school. Your kind sponsorship will help Jovia improve her health conditions by accessing good medical care and live her future dream.
