Pedro is a young Brazilian boy who lives with his parents, Cicero and Maria, and with two sisters, in a municipality which belongs to the metropolitan region of Fortaleza, state of Ceara. Their simple home has brick walls, rough cement floors and a clay-tiled roof. It is self-built and has a tiny bathroom. Cicero struggles to earn a living as a servant on constructions when available, but his very low income is far from enough to meet even the most basic needs of his family. Pedro is sweet, active and intelligent. He likes playing with toy cars in the company of other kids his age. He is fond of animals, especially dogs and cats. Pedro is considered to have good health, in spite of the poor living conditions and diet. He attends nursery school and loves painting and coloring. Through your support Pedro and his family will have the opportunity to participate in important projects in the areas of health, education and nutrition.
