Samatha lives with her parents and siblings in a Central part of the Uganda where farming is the source of livelihood, unfortunately the soils have lost fertility and this has made farming to be more costly in terms of buying fertilizers, besides the situation is worsened by the unpredictable pests and diseases that affect the harvests, Just like other families her family finds it difficult to get enough yields to cater for food and also have surplus to sell and be able to buy the basic needs required ,the maximum income for the family is US 25 dollars per month, They share a small double room house of their own which is poorly built with mud and stills walls, roofed with iron sheets and dirt floor and lacks electricity, Though going through all these hardships, Samatha is a promising girl ,she is very nice and playful child who enjoys coloring, dancing and playing with dolls at the local government aided school ,with additional support from your sponsorship it will create opportunity for Samatha and the family to be part of the progress as result of participating in childfund funded projects.
