Rahma is a confident girl who stays with both parents in a slum area of the Central parts of Uganda. She loves dancing and helping her mother to wash dishes. The child lives in the community characterized with savannah land and wet land which is good for farming however where Rahma lives people operate business on small scale such as charcoal and vegetable stall, retail shops, frying snacks among others. The mother of the child earns a living from saloon and the father is hawker. They both on monthly basis earn less than 40 Dollars and it is all spent meeting basic needs of life such as food, medication clothing, among others. The way the family struggles to meet basic needs it will be hard for Rahma to acquire quality education and become a responsible person. The family needs support to improve on their standard of living and enjoy life like other children in the community.

Ending child poverty begins with Rahma. It’s easy. It’s impactful.
