Madaliso is a young charming girl who lives with her grandmother. She comes from Tigwilizane Community which is situated about 270 kilometres away southeast of Lusaka the capital city of Zambia. The parents are divorced and the mother lives in another district leaving Madaliso behind with the grandmother. The family are local peasant farmers who mainly produce crops for their livelihood and just a few surplus for sell. Crop yield is mainly a challenging factor as in most cases there are floods or droughts because of Luangwa weather pattern. They make less than US$300 annually which is not enough to meet their basic needs. Madaliso is in primary school and is a healthy child and enjoys playing ball games. Your support will go a long way in securing a better future for Madaliso.
