Tanou was born in a remote village situated in Kalela community. He is growing under the care of his both parents. The father is a farmer and his mother is a housewife. They dwell in a mud house lacking electricity and clean water. The family annual income is around $360 USD which is not enough to feed, clothe and educate the children in the family. With this little income they only share two little meals daily. The family survives by cultivating local crops including rice, fonio, cassava and groundnut. Tanou is a very smart little child who likes to play ballon with his friends in the yard. Presently the child is not attending school due to his young age. He sleeps under mosquito net provided by ChildFund. A helping hand from a kind sponsor will surely give new hope to the child for better future.
