Sento is a name commonly given to female twins in the northern province of Sierra Leone. Sento Alpha is a twin, her twin partner is a female. She lives with her mother and grandparents in the hard to reach villages in the country. The family dwells in a mud brick house roofed with old zinc. They sleep on locally made beds stuffed with dried grass mattress with poor beddings. This sometimes make Sento to develop rash and other skin diseases as you can presently see her face. Her mother sells fried cakes and also practices backyard gardening. Her father is a small scale rice farmer who also burns charcoal for sale. Their combine annual income of US$ 348.00 is not enough to provide the basic needs of the family. They manage to provide single meal a day. Sento Alpha has not started attending school due to her age, she enjoys motherly care at home. She will achieve her dream if fortunate to be sponsored in the Child Fund program.
