Ana Kaylane is a young Brazilian girl who lives with her grandmother, Maria Rosenilda; mother, Maria Lindonete, and with a sister, a brother and an uncle; besides an aunt and a cousin, in a municipality which belongs to the metropolitan region of Fortaleza, state of Ceara. The father has abandoned the home and has not been providing any type of financial support for his children. Maria Lindonete takes some odd jobs as a saleswoman when available (she is unemployed at this time) and Maria Rosenilda receives a small old age pension; the combined income, however, is far from enough to meet basic needs. Ana Kaylane is calm and affectionate. She is called Kaylane in the household. She helps around the house mostly by washing the dishes. Her favorite pastimes include playing tag and hide-and-seek. She has a dog she is passionately fond of. Ana Kaylane is considered to have good health, in spite of the poor living conditions and diet. She attends a local public school and her favorite subject is Portuguese. Your support will make a difference in the life of this needy child.
