Meet Monica, a polite and humble young girl living in the northern part of Uganda in one of the remote villages with very poor access roads. She lost her father when she was still young leaving her with a single mother as the bread winner of the family. After the death of her father, life has never been the same as her mother is not able to attend to all her needs as well as those of her siblings as such this has always seen them begging for support in the neighbourhood which is not good for the children as life has lost meaning for them. Monica is enrolled in school and her best subject is science, her education has not been so easy as she misses school most of the days because her mother is not able to provide for all her school needs as well as those of her siblings. Her mother fears that if not supported Monica may drop out of school and will never reach her dream of becoming a nurse as she has always wished. Your choice to sponsor Monica will help improve her life through the different trainings that her mother will attain to help boost the income of the family.
