Meet Mirriam, a social and loving young girl living in a small village off from a trading centre in Northern Uganda. She likes playing running game with friends. Mirriam is a school going child and her school is about two kilometers from her home. Her parents do small scale farming for a living. They earn 6 US dollars per month as income from farming. As a result, they do not have enough food to eat left since part of it is sold to support the extended family. Mirriam and family eat one unbalanced meal a day which is not very healthy for her. She sleeps on and old papyrus mat with a very transparent bed sheet. Her parents do not have enough capacity to support her in school which exposes her at a risk of dropping out of school. Her school fees are paid late and in very small installments which makes her perform poorly since she is frequently sent out of school. She requires a better education and general wellbeing, which will all be attained through your kind sponsorship.
